Community Programs » Volunteering
Whether you are a parent working away from the home having little time during the day, or a parent able to come to school during school hours, we have a place and a need for you to become involved. Parent engagement is one of the most important factors in a school’s effectiveness and, besides, we want to get to know you! Please consider at least one area where you can get involved this year. During the first weeks of school, signup sheets will be posted in the hallway at the school.
This visual information hub will be updated throughout the year beckoning you to select a team and get involved! Please plan to sign up for a committee or a team when you come to school and someone will get in touch with you to provide all the details. If unable to be on campus the first week, we invite you to contact Lynn Baker for details on where we need you. We have something for everyone, and you won’t need to be available during the school day to help! So, come check out the new Community Engagement Board and find your place!
Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, help a child succeed, get to know teachers and staff, contribute to the school community, and have a good deal of fun! For more information on volunteering policies and procedures AND to fill out your paperwork online, please visit the district's website. You can also download our handy information sheet to get all the details on how to become involved.
Thanks, in advance, for being willing to become involved!
Every year our school holds events where volunteers are always in need. From planning to procuring to counting laps any help you can give is truly appreciated. Please let us know if you can help with any of the following!
