McClure Middle School's annual musical

Wham! Bam! Pow! Cartoons, Turbans & Confronting Hate is an exhibit of Vishavjit Singh's cartoon art journey following the tragedy of 9/11 attacks that will be hosted at Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience in Seattle. His story will be on display in the form of cartoons, photographs, Captain America uniform, shield and turbans.

Exhibits opening reception is on May 3rd at 6:00pm and it opens to public on May 4th. You can RSVP at this Facebook event page for opening reception (free event). The exhibit runs through February 2019.

As part of the opening reception, Vishavjit is also hosting the following two events:

1) Reading a children's illustrated book about Sikhs to toddlers on May 3rd from 11-11:30am. Click on link to see more details.
2) Hosting a story telling session and live guided tour of the exhibit by Vishavjit himself on May 5th from 1:30-3:00pm. Click on link to register for free event.

Summer Camps

Seattle Girls Choir
Each summer Seattle Girls Choir offers Summer Music Day Camp sessions designed for kids who love singing so they can build choral skills in a non-auditioned choir, explore sound with various instruments, and to find new reasons to love making music while meeting new friends!
We will be hosting two sessions in summer 2018:
Session 1 – July 23-27 (full)
Session 2 – July 30 – Aug. 3 (space still available)
