Congratulations to all our Jaguars on a successful Ditty Bag Drive! The final count was performed last week and we had a total of 11 paper boxes spilling over with more than 2,100 items!
It will all be picked up this week and transported to Queen Anne Food Bank for distribution to our community members in need.
There was an friendly competition set up between grades to collect the most items. The 2nd and 3rd graders led the pack and will be rewarded with cupcakes and an extra recess.
A huge thank you to our Student Council for leading this project, as well as Arti Ameer, Janet Schooler, and Thomas Rose for providing inspiration, guidance, and support.
And another HUGE thank you to our families for making these donations. By teaching our children to be generous, involved community members, we are helping to build a better future for everyone. #GoJaguarsGo!
