As a parent and an educator, I felt very strongly that we should participate as a school, but I was not sure how to do so in a meaningful way that our students could benefit from. On Thursday evening, John Hay hosted its first annual Multi-Cultural night.  This was a beautiful community event with tremendous family participation.  We estimate there were more than 150 participants.

What is happening with the commemorative pavers?
We’ve sold an amazing 88 pavers so far! Let’s get to our goal of 100 by the end of March. What do you give your relative that has everything?
How about a personalized paver that will live forever on the playground! Maybe the grandparents are stumped on ideas for what to get your kiddo this year. How much would your child love to see his or her name every day on the playground path! Pick up a holiday gift certificate that you can give to your loved one in a beautiful envelope or adorn with a fancy bow.

Certificates are available now outside Lynn Baker/Volunteer Coordinator’s office along with order forms. For more information on Project Playground, please visit our webpage
